Simplicity is Key

As I was reading this article from Remodelista (from January) about the top 15 interior trends in 2015, I came across a very unique home. I was initially drawn to it because of the super cool exterior. Have you ever seen an all herringbone home exterior? Ever?

How awesome is this? (Also pretty badass that they’re half hanging out of the second floor window of their home…I would be WAY too scared to open those windows!)

The inside of their house is very simple & minimal. It’s not my taste, per se, but I can certainly appreciate the beauty in this type of design. It truly is serene & soothing. The home’s interiors are composed of whites, woods, marbles, stone & of course, neutral colors. They keep the space from feeling cold by using a variety of materials & textures. Check it out and see what you think…
