Paris Day Trip Advice & Vote

Hi y’all! You may have already seen my question on Instagram, but if not here it is. I need your advice! I’ll be traveling to Paris for 5 days in late May (insert major squeal!) and am trying to decide where to go on a day trip. I’m totally cool with waking up early, getting in late, etc. I believe that all of the places I’ve narrowed down are within 3 hours of Paris.

Here are my options- please vote so I can pick & plan! Thank you SO much!!!

So…what do y’all suggest?! Any place I’m missing?

  1. Versailles and Giverny are the closest to Paris. I love Versailles but I think you can do that trip in like 3 hours itself, let alone travel three hours, so maybe save that one for a different day (and show up REALLY early to beat the lines – and go on a weekday). I’d go with Provence, but make sure the lavender field are in bloom!

  2. Giverny! There is a lovely outdoor “creekside” restaurant nearby (across the street) with the most wonderful ambiance. Seeing Monet’s home and gardens is something you’ll never forget. You just can’t take a bad picture there. Enjoy!
